We already know that standard contributions will total 1232.18 PLN (compared to 1172.56 PLN last year) and preferential contributions for entrepreneurs who have been going for less than 2 years will total 520.09 PLN (compared to 487.90 last year). It is worth noting that the rate of increase for both version of the contribution is higher than it was last year.
– Increased contributions for entrepreneurs are a consequences of increasing wages. Those who are doing well will register practically no difference, although for some micro-companies this will represent an increase in already disproportionate burdens. Therefore, it is worth considering the introduction of solutions linking contributions to the economic results of business activity – says Chief Economist of Employers of Poland Łukasz Kozłowski.
The new contributions, like those for December 2017, will be settled within the framework of a new mechanism at ZUS – the so-called e-contribution. Entrepreneurs and other contribution payers will settle their obligations with a single transfer to their personal contribution account.

Contributions for entrepreneurs will increase to 1232 PLN a month
Most recent GUS figures about the average wage in companies in the IV quarter of last year provide the missing information needed to establish the contributions that entrepreneurs will pay in 2018.
