In the New Year, the minimum wage is 2100 PLN

With the start of 2018, the minimum wage increased to 2100 PLN gross per month – 100 PLN more than in 2017. The total cost for employers exceeds 2530 PLN per month and the employees’ wages after the deduction of all mandatory contributions and the income tax advance is 1530 per month.

Therefore, the difference between the sum paid by the employer and the money received by the employee on a minimum wage has exceeded 1000 PLN – equivalent to over 40 percent of the employment costs.

The minimum wage for employees on contracts of order and contracts for a specific service increased proportionally to that of those on contracts of employment – to 13.70 PLN per hour, 0.7 PLN more than in 2017.
