Business urges the authorities to moderate the approach to entrepreneurs

“Puls Biznesu”: Recent actions of prosecutors and the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) regarding a.o. former CEO of Lotos Paweł Olechnowicz or the controversially upheld arrest of Piotr Osiecki, founder of Altus TFI, have caused great concern among entrepreneurs. President of Employers of Poland Andrzej Malinowski blames those developments on “election fever”.

– The image in the media, rather than efficiency and adequacy, seem to be a priority. That should not be the case. Such an approach creates an atmosphere of terror. Fear spreads not to those who should be concerned, but to law-abiding businessmen, and fear is not conducive to invest and growth – on the contrary, it leads to decreased business activity in an effort to survive a time of uncertainty – says Andrzej Malinowski.
