Hospitals incentivized to cut the costs of therapy

“Dziennik Gazeta Prawna”:  If you treat patients with cheaper medicine, you will get more money – the National Health Fund (NFZ) motivates hospitals to save on the costs of therapy. Employers of Poland argue that this may be dangerous for patients.

According to Employers of Poland such a mechanisms is inappropriate, as it will interfere with competition on the pharmaceutical market and in extreme cases within a given therapeutic program.
