– This time, reptilians attacked the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK), in order to harm the construction industry using the so-called open trust accounts in housing. Clients who buy a flat under construction, often still a hole in the ground, do not pay the construction company directly. Rather, they put their money in trust accounts. The bank oversees the progress of construction and transfer the accumulated funds to the developer – provided everything goes according to plan – he explains.
