Stimulating consumption will only help short-term

“Rzeczpospolita”: Election promises made by the ruling party, if they are carried out, will maintain the consumption boom in Poland. Short-term it will help the economy, but may seriously hurt it long-term. – The promises we heard at the convention have a common denominator: they do not address entrepreneurs! – emphasizes the President of Employers of Poland Andrzej Malinowski.

– We heard nothing of developing the economy, building solid foundations for welfare. We have to think about how the economy and the budget will look in three, five, ten years and draw our plans accordingly. This is all the more urgent given that the global economic downturn has already started – Malinowski adds.
